Neo QLED: Samsung's smartest LED tech
Samsung's Neo QLED lineup offers some of the sharpest-looking TVs on the market. These sets use "Mini LEDs" for backlighting. Here's how it works: behind the screen there's a panel with thousands of itty-bitty LEDs. This provides much more precise illumination for all the images on the screen compared to TVs that have far fewer LEDs. That gives the Neo QLED set much better contrast across the board, really bringing the details to life. TVs with lesser backlights just can't match that performance.
Great for a brightly lit room
Because mini LED TVs can get so bright, they're able to cut through ambiant light. Samsung's Neo QLED TVs also double down with an anti-reflective coating. That means these TVs are a particularly good choice for brighter rooms.
Quantum dots dial up the color
Samsung enhances all of their OLED and QLED TVs with a special film layer of quantum dots. These light-reactive nanocrystals amplify color volume and saturation for brighter, more vivid colors.
